My final solution was to install ndiswrapper with windows drivers from
dell (following

Reproduce:
1.- Open a song with empty metadata.
2.- View/edit the met
installing the maverik version of bcmwl-kernel-source, adding "blacklist b43"
to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf reboot, and fn-f2 does the trick for me
(finally).
I don´t have to key fn-f2 on every boot, it works fine; just like before natty.

I got the same error.
I try (totally) uninstalling pidgin and reinstalling it from synaptic, but the
bug doesn´t dissapear.
