I fixed it on my machine by using time.time().__str__() instead of

Thanks for the report. This looks like a font hinting problem. Is the
problem corrected if you change the font smoothing or hinting settings
in System-Preference-Appearance , Fonts tab, Details button? Also,
are you sure that the same font is rendered properly in programs other
than Firefox?
I didn't know this feature was possible, but I confirm that it doesn't
exist on my R61 either.

I was unable to reproduce this bug. Did you also move your ~/.vim folder to
make sure nothing in there was causing it? To make sure I'm testing with the
same executable, what is printed with the following command:
ls -l /usr/bin | grep vim

Alexander, I agree, double buffering would be an ideal solution for

I tested it again after the update and it still flickers. Unfortunately I
do not have a camera to record a video with. To be a little more
descriptive, the orange of the progress bar will occasionally flash black.

Cannot use Windows key in keyboard
Changing the keyboard layout does work for me as well, using Gutsy (that
I believe was upgraded from at least Feisty, so is not a fresh install).
I noticed that the Super is mapped to the Win-keys (default) claims
it's default. The problem, I think, is that Alt and Meta are on the
Alt keys

After further exploration, preferences are not shown when runining
pidgin using the gaim command. I set gaim to automatically run in my
session preferences (a relic of ubuntu 7.04). Prior to pidgin 2.2.0
using the gaim command correctly read my preferences.
