Amarok ran at full tilt calculating an Audio Fingerprint forever... That
is, until I did a re-install of Amarok. Now everything works perfectly!

I get absolutely no weird effects with Accumulation buffer (which is the
default one), but the less resource intensive Texture Copy mode does exactly
what you describe. Everything turns a shade of white, and the window borders
xcorex, are you saying you still have this issue with xine? If you are
still having this issue, even after updating to the lasted Amarok-xine
(2:1.4.9.1-0ubuntu2), please write back here so we know this bug has not
been fixed for everyone. Thanks.

blur, and re-enabling, the default is now texture copy. Very odd.

I also just got this update, and it seems everything is now fixed in Hardy
Heron Beta. Even with a flash player 9.0 tab open in my 64bit Firefox, I can
still open Amarok without the previous error message. I think if a few others
write in that its fixed, and you are able to get all error message

time. After logging out, logging in, opening a tab with a flash movie, and
opening Amarok, there was no error message at all.

It seems like the new version of gproftpd in Intrepid was renamed to
gadmin-proftpd.
You will have to call something more like:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# gadmin-proftpd
The menu item may also be set to run the old "gproftpd", and should be
fixed to run the new gadmin-proftpd command.

I am unable to reproduce the yellowed window effect by turning on rain and
motion blur in Hardy Heron Beta.
GeForce 8600 GT with nvidia-glx-new and compiz 1:0.7.4-0ubuntu5.
Though I do get many of the handler is already registered messages if I run
compiz in a terminal.

Is your "Motion Blur Mode" set to Texture Copy or Accumulation buffer?
I get absolutely no weird effects with Accumulation buffer (which is the
default one), but the less resource intensive Texture Copy mode does exactly
what you describe. Everything turns a shade of white, and the window borders
xcorex, are you saying you still have this issue with xine? If you are
still having this issue, even after updating to the lasted Amarok-xine
(2:1.4.9.1-0ubuntu2), please write back here so we know this bug has not
been fixed for everyone. Thanks.

Well, it must have been my settings that were messed up, after disabling motion
blur, and re-enabling, the default is now texture copy. Very odd.
Now that this bug has been confirmed for texture copy mode only, I commented on
