I also just got this update, and it seems everything is now fixed in Hardy Heron Beta. Even with a flash player 9.0 tab open in my 64bit Firefox, I can still open Amarok without the previous error message. I think if a few others write in that its fixed, and you are able to get all error message

Is your "Motion Blur Mode" set to Texture Copy or Accumulation buffer? I get absolutely no weird effects with Accumulation buffer (which is the default one), but the less resource intensive Texture Copy mode does exactly what you describe. Everything turns a shade of white, and the window borders
