Before I got this message, update-manager checked for updates and
displayed a message regarding to performing a partial upgrade. I
pressed the 'partial-upgrade' button and update-manager began to prepare
the updates, then the aforementioned error/clause was displayed.

I have two video devices on my machine , an on board sis chip and an old
voodoo card. Ubuntu chose the voodoo card to work with but wrote the
wrong pci address into xorg.conf. The voodoo card resides at 5:0:0 and
the sis resides at 1:0:0 . The xorg.conf file wrote in the tdf
I look in Internet and seems that the problem happens when using Beryl
