Hello,
I wanted a version of pmock compatible with Python 2.5+ and that's why I
created pmocky, a fork of pmock. I had first contacted the original
author and he'd okayed to the idea. The source code is here
https://launchpad.net/pmocky, and packages for Intrepid can be found in
my PPA https://lau
Not sure if the root cause is the same but I was seeing the same behaviour in
Intrepid 8.10. 2.3+1289-0ubuntu4.2~ppa4 has fixed that, along with bug #340183.
The upstream patch was here

They are the pathnames encoded in hex, most probably it's because they contain

After a vivid #ubuntu-hardened IRC session (thanks again sbeattie and
jjohansen), I can no longer reproduce
the problems I have originally reported when using 2.3+1289-0ubuntu4.2~ppa4.

Are you sure it's really been fixed for Jaunty? I'm not using it yet
but I can still confirm I'm still having the same problems in Intrepid.

Err.. it's my fault, should've been 2.3+1289-0ubuntu4
Unfortunately, it still doesn't work with 2.3+1289-0ubuntu4.2~ppa1, even if I
explicitly tell aa-genprof to read the events from /var/log/messages (-f
switch).
Is there any way to run it in a I_MEAN_REALLY_VERBOSE_DEBUG_MODE
perhaps? :-)
I have completely removed each of the packages before test
