This is what I was greeted with on my first linux install at first boot of 10.10 server 64. I am installing on an external usb h/d & as yet did not get to moving grub to sda1. Nautilus also closed unexpecedly apon start up. Install went well accept I was unable to select sda1 partition as bootable or install Grub to that partition either.This would be a nice option to add to later releases. Sorry I am unable to report further info for you.
