This regression is still there in Ubuntu 16.04 / Gnome Files 3.14.3.

Same for my new Canon Pixma MG2980.
So I upgraded to libsane 1.0.26-gitxxx ppa package (from Rolf Bensch),
and now wireless works fine for both printing *and* scanning without any
proprietary package from Canon, which is really nice!

Same for me: the pinyin inputs always use the us keyboard layout even
whatever the option for system keyboard in ibus-setup.
I used the following workaround to have the proper azerty (French)

My problem: on my brand new Karmic Koala, I cannot anymore use gFTP to
connect to my favorite FTP server because when it welcomes me in French
with accentuated characters encoded in ISO-8859-1, gFTP freezes eating
all the CPU and looping
I tried to start the indexing function for the first time after having
upgraded to Jaunty (before, I never felt I needed it). But it does not
really seem to index anything and finishes by eating all my memory.

I think this is because the upscaling algorithm used is GDK_INTERP_NEAREST
which is not that good.
(documentation:
http://library.gnome.org/devel/gdk-pixbuf/stable/gdk-pixbuf-scaling.html#GDK-INTERP-BILINEAR--CAPS)
I tested instead with GDK_INTERP_BILINEAR and I find the result pretty good
I also have the same problem with Intrepid 64 bits. Does not seem to
come from the drive because I have the same problem if I insert my CD-R
in my DVD writer or my old Yamaha CD writer.
