Same problem here with ubuntu 16.06 and Kdenlive version 16.08.1 after "sudo apt-get install libqt5libqgtk2" problem persists however problem solved after "sudo apt-get install kde-runtime", which automatically installed the following packages (167MB of space): docbook-xsl fonts-dejavu
