Public bug reported:
The `TextInput` class in kivy requires `xsel` and `xclip`.
These are not listed as dependencies for the `python3-kivy` package,
but any attempt to use a `TextInput` will fail without them.

I saw this same issue on 3 October, 2018 under Ubuntu 18.04. Software
Updater notifies that updates are available and that 1.5 MB need to be
downloaded, but shows nothing in the list of software to be updated.

However, mount.cifs ignores the options passed to it by the util-linux
mount when it is not invoked by root. In that case, mount.cifs obtains
the options from the fstab file and does not do any processing to ignore
comments. So the status of this bug should not be invalid, unless

After further investigation, it turns out that mount is actually
handling the options correctly and passing the options (with x-* options
removed) to mount.cifs. The problem is that mount.cifs ignores those
passed options if the user running the mount command is not root, and
just grabs the options

According to the mount(8) man page:

Yes, I do have that package installed. However, your email alerted

I have a private installation of python3.6. The DriverManager_DBus

I know you wanted tags, but I cannot find instructions on how to add

I don't think this fixed it for me. Here are the details:
According to Synaptic Package Manager, I am running libqapt3 and
libqapt3-runtime both at version 3.0.2-0ubuntu1.2
When I run the driver manager from the system settings, It does not show any
drivers. Syslog shows:
Sep 1 15:13:03 jra-HP
I just did some updates and noticed that I am back to the hung driver
manager. As pubalapoub says, rerunning the update-apt-xapian-index fixes
it again.

Just a bit more information. The secure boot fails because these updates
replace the signed grubx64.efi with an unsigned version. I copied a
signed grubx64.efi from a backup (overwriting the one from the updates),
and now my secure boot is working correctly again.
