I can confirm that this bug exists in Jaunty beta with compiz
0.8.2-0ubuntu6. In Workspace Switcher, I have 1 column, 12 rows, in
Window List Preferences set "Restore to current workspace". After
minimizing and switching to another workspace, restore of minimized
window goes back to native worksp
Apologies, I should have added that I'm running Jaunty-beta with all
current updates, and the suggested workaround seems to resolve the
issue.

I was having the same problem and followed followed the workaround in
183514. I moved /etc/X11/Xsession.d/90gpg-agent out of the way and ssh-
agent seems to continue to respond as it should.

I have this problem with 7.10, desktop effecta and a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop.
This bug is not fixed and reproducable. I also uninstalled any KDE references
to make sure it is not dependant on that.

That is what worked for me last night, but now things seem to be working
when the radio is on and off. That was the only change I made and it
started working. Maybe a different update came in yesterday that fixed
the problem.

I had this problem on my R61 w/NVIDIA drivers. I enabled the Bluetooth
radio. Suspend stays suspended and resumes just fine now.
