Does nobody else have this issue? When I open the laptop lid after lock,
I still get it, 90% of the time. It's either monitor, it's not always
just one.

This also affects me, and can verify it doesn't happen when doing a
'full' screenshot. I have NVidia binary, with dual monitor, if that
helps.

Public bug reported:
Gnome Shell, dual monitor setup with NVidia. When doing alt+prt-screen
in gnome shell, it saves the screenshot in ~/Pictures .. But the red and
blue colors will be swapped. This does not happen when doing a full
screenshot (of both monitors, with just print screen)
**
It's funny how after so long this bug still isn't fixed.

If I switch to a different virtual terminal, and then back to F7, it
powers back up. I have a laptop, and an Acer Monitor connected via HDMI.
Randomly (not always), one (never both) of the displays powers back up..
Note: The monitor does attempt to search for connected
P.S. Before I was going to test the new Kernel, the packages updated to
4.4.0-25-generic, and it seems the issue is fixed.
Again, thank you for your time!

Hi Joseph! Thanks for the reply, the Kernel updated, and now I don't
seem to be having the problem.. You can mark it as fixed!
Thank you very much!

Very recently (in the last week? Possibly after the Compiz update?),
Ubuntu 16.04 AMD64 (the version), will randomly add another quick mouse
click after I physically click the left Mouse Button. I used xinput to
verify this is happening, and it is. This happens on two
This also affects me.. I really wish this would get fixed, it's been
around for quite some time and it's so annoying. I wonder how many
other people it affects, and they just don't voice their opinion..

I'm not too sure the other bug report made duplicate to this one (bug
#874784) is the same bug. The other link led me to here first so I
replied here in error. I meant to reply to bug #874784. Bug #874784
seems more like bug #764330 (Move window annoying slow with compiz)
instead of this issue.
Hmmm.. On deeper investigation, my issue still remains. (I'm on nvidia)
.. The desktop eventually just lags on it's own, it was the reboot that
made it faster. Although when I disabled Wobbly Windows, it ran fast
again.. Thinking possibly it's a bug in Wobbly Windows..?

On further investigation, the slow down wasn't an ATI issue, and it happens
eventually when the system slows down.
It seems however, to be a duplicate of this bug #764330

Good job Ian! I hope more people can test Ian's patch and see if it
works for them. We all want a smooth Oneiric experience and not to scare
anyone away from using it because of some silly bug!

X-Swat PPA also includes fglrx-installer, which is the AMD Proprietary
drivers.. But not sure if it actually installs or updates them as I
don't have ATI. Someone would have to verify that, but it worked for
nVidia for sure (on my computer anyway).

Apparently it affects the 'xserver-xorg-video-ati' package (Ubuntu
X-Swat had it at one point.. Wonder why they stopped updating it) ..
You're right, they're discussing it here:

Yes! I finally solved my own slow problem.. It was nvidia drivers current all
along. I updated them using this PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates
In Terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates
sudo apt-get update
Then use Update Manager if you want to

This one affects me too.. Though it doesn't seem like it's just wobbly
windows, as Videos run and 'pause' every second or so, almost like it's
locking the video card and doing some operations or something.
