Now it's 2021, Feb, I'm using up-to date 20.04 LTS with apt-btrfs-snapshot v353.

My USB devices (on Medion Akoya E1210 : European version of MSI Wind)
only work by blacklisting the uvcvideo...
no updates seem to get my Bison cam working back again yet..

On the Medion Akoya (german rebrand of the MSI Wind)
Even if you disable the bison webcam via FN+F6 the usb still does not detect
usb sticks etc.. when inserted.
Which as you can imagine is a pretty big deal,
no data on sticks, no webcam support, no printing etc..

In previous Ubuntu releases there is a 'thin' or 'simple' theme choice in
gnome-theme-manager.
it was described as
'The Simple theme is designed for high performance with a thin
appearance.'
It's referenced as been included in
Um.. well you go to System Preferences Theme
and Simple theme isn't there, you want me to show a pic of it missing from the
list.
You can check any default feisty install i imagine. I've attached a pic
(which covers most of the themes).

I uninstalled edgy after a kernel-panic, so I'm not running edgy at the
moment.Actually, do you mean by that bug the halting-problem or the
Gnome-freeze-problem? About the latter, I've just booted 3x using
runlevel 2 and the problem does not occur anymore! I suppose in the
meantime that i've set
linux-image-2.6.17-9-generic_amd64 on MSI K8TM: same kernel panic. Seems
to be another issue with the infamous Via-based-chipset K8T mobo's...?
