@Phillip Susi (psusi) Actually I use Xubuntu, so no Unity panel here, but the 2 icons you describe are indeed on the desktop and in Xubuntus file manager, which is called Thunar. And the problem is not so much that there are 2 icons, but that the shortcuts labeled by these 2 icons mount the filesy

Indeed #17 installs the fonts, but doesn't prevent the pop-up that prompts to install them again. In fact the fonts were installed in the first place, and that didn't keep the pop-up away either. These are old font files, the .exe installers are equally old, and do not change anymore. The problem l
