The Jaunty alpha 6 installer does not load the GUI installer, it drops
to a shell. It's probably yet another issue with this Intel G45 chipset
(onboard X4500HD video). (Curse the day I bought this mobo!!)
Just rebuilt my desktop with:
- Gigabyte GA-EG45M-DS2H mobo;
- Intel
This appears to be fixed in the 9.04 beta - installer ran fine.
G45 graphics acceleration appears to be improved - not perfect, but
better than it was under 8.10.

disable network using nm applet
rhythmbox stops responding, even when net is reenabled
leaving only: pkill rhythmbox ...and launch again. (it was like this in
8.04 as well)
