My resolv.config shows:
dixon@dixon-vaio:~$ ls -l /etc/resolv.conf
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 29 May 9 06:59 /etc/resolv.conf -
../run/resolvconf/resolv.conf
To remove permissions, i deleted the file:
dixon@dixon-vaio:~$ sudo rm /etc/resolv.conf
And then restored from previous backup:
Have same problem in Ubuntu 12.04
/dev/disk/by-uuid fixed issue for local drives.
