Henrik, I'm using the same versions of Inkscape and Ubuntu. It appears
that input from tablet is disabled by default in Inkscape settings. I
had to manually set option Wacom bamboo pen stylus to Screen to
enable pressure sensitivity (and it works without disabling overlay
scrolls).
