Happened for me when trying to upgrade from 18.10.
When trying to configure the sendmail paclage, exit status 2 is returned.
Tried with linux 5.0.0-13.

screen shot) and the ubuntu software center shows me, that all eleven updates
which are listed by apt-get were installed by the update-manager.

I have the same problem with the final release of 10.10!
I think, thats my suggestion, that it could be my dvd-rw that is the problem.
Maybe there is no support for rewritable dvds?
I burn it on a normal cd but it's late, I'll report this in about 16
hours^^
