Hi Michael,
I get the same issue. I have a Freecom DVB-T usb stick attached to my
system running 64bit Gusty. I have the DVB device working with Mythtv
and I wanted to try me-Tv.
On startup of me-tv I get a popup window saying somethng like I have no
device or it is busy.
Can you advise?

Issue solved at my end...
The problem was to do with the Mythtv backend application which is
running all the time (I have a combined front and backend running on the
same machine). The backend was hogging the dvb card. I had to stop the
mythtv-backend service by:-
$ /etc/init.d/mythtv-backend
