Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: empathy
empathy offers SIP functionality, but cannot be invoked with a sip: URL,
making it much less usable to launch from e.g. a Web browser.
This is similar to the need of reacting to irc:// URL schemes #496085
and thus also linked to the upstream bug

I'm experiencing the exact same issue; it happens when opening links or
opening attachments, and only after evolution has run for a while. The
problem disappears when restarting evolution, which seems to confirm
this is an evolution-specific problem.
I can also confirm it is a new problem,
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gwibber
Gwibber is now a really good tool to manage several social services
within a single tool.
Something that could improve its usability for people who manage quite
of a few of those (e.g. several twitter accounts) would be to show the
avatar linked
Again, could this bug's importance please be re-qualified? It is not a
wishlist item, it is an actual bug report (with a patch, too).

Binary package hint: w3c-dtd-xhtml
The XML-catalog file that points to the local XHTML dtds provided by the

Public bug reported:
It would be nice if the script provided in /usr/bin/saxonb-xslt would
use /etc/xml/catalog and org.apache.xml.resolver so that it wouldn't hit
the network each time it tries to transform XML documents with a doctype
(e.g. XHTML documents).
The following script would do:
The script above is wrong due to a bad copy paste, sorry; I've put the
real one as an attachment

Err - sorry, why wishlist ? This is a bug report, not an enhancement
request.

Seems to be working fine with the new pm-utils script; I haven't had the
network disabled for the past few days at least.

Public bug reported:
There are occasions (e.g. when projecting one's screen) where one
doesn't want to have notification bubbles appearing; there doesn't seem
to be a way to set such a configuration.
In particular, it would be great to bind that with the detection of a
separate screen.
**
As I reported earlier
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/intrepid/+source/network-
manager/+bug/291062/comments/27) I installed the PPA packages; I thought
the problem had gone away, but it hasn't entirely; it seems to happen
much less often than before, but it still happened a couple of times

I was affected by the enable networking unchecked on resume bug, and
just installed the PPA packages which seem to fix the problem - I tried
to suspend/resume quite a few times in a row, and the network stayed up
each time; I'll report back if the problem re-appears,
