that it is not supported...

Is this really fixed?
I installed the latest packages available from the PPA as mentioned.
And I see the device on the lsusb list:

But fprint_demo still reports "Status: No devices found."

The Ubuntu changelog is in english and seems do be untranslatable.

While compiz is enabled, the screen shows artifacts. It is not
associated with the card or driver because a laptop (HP 6735s) with the

And it broke apt-get, it say I have to launch "sudo apt-get install -f" because
cache is broken...
And when I refuse to install sun-java6-*, the cache stay broken... and if i
accept to install, but i don't accept the license it ask me to accept the
license in a infinite loop...
So I have install

button "previous" don't work...) so i click "next" (without accepting
lincense) and many errors messages appear...
