How was this not a blocker for release? We're talking about impacting
every single Ubuntu user that suspends their computer, and the entire
goal of Ubuntu is to make Linux easier for the average user! I happen to
be knowledgeable enough to know NM has a power state within itself that

NetworkManager never completed or reported completion of the sleep task
it was sent. Could be why it never got woken up.

Not sure why my comment on my report of this bug didn't get merged into

The work-around is to issue
nmcli nm sleep false
This tells NetworkManager to leave sleep mode. Restarting
NetworkManager _happens_ to do this, but only by chance. I'd actually
argue that restarting NetworkManager
Do we have any indication that there will be work done on this before
release? This bug effects not only empathy and friends/gwibber
notifications, but xchat and presumably Thunderbird as well! It makes
using a chat application impossible when you have more than a screen

When launching the Empathy IM client, after setting Empathy to display
contacts in groups, all groups are expanded regardless of their previous
state. This is a problem for organizations that have many users that use
IM internally.

Just to add my comments to the din-
I think Foldername, User's Folder, and then Home would be my
preference in order. I think adding folder is redundant and not
needed. As already stated, there is a folder icon already notifying the
user that this is, in fact, a folder.

I can confirm this issue. It appears the applet's hover status hangs.
Mine is currently stuck at 82.5% with 3 hours 15 min remaining. When I
left-click the icon, I see that I have 61% free.
