This might explain why my dual boot failed for a while until I commented
out some partitions in Feisty's /etc/fstab. After that it worked fine.
Is there anything useful I can fish out of my system now that it does
work again, including the previously commented out bits.

I think bug should be marked 'Invalid'. This is the correct behaviour
for Inkscape.
Inkscape should not associate itself with all SVG files. SVG is just a
picture format. Should all JPGs GIFs PNGs open in GIMP?

Seems rather trivial, but it refuses to go any further. Hardware

Ubuntu 7.10, Gutsy. Updated the 26th of June.
Using 'Add/Remove Programs' to install Inkscape. The menu icon is there
but does nothing, doesn't even invoke apport to collect bug information.
Starting on the command line gives:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ inkscape
inkscape: symbol
It works fine as a file manager when started manually.
The problem went away about one week and three updates later. I didn't
try to fix it myself.
I was going to mark this as rejected, but i see they've removed that
option - could you mark it?
