I fixed this problem for my Lenovo E531 by upgrading to kernel 3.9 or
3.10 (both work for me) using the Ubuntu mainline kernels [
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ ]. However, the Broadcom
wireless driver bcmwl-kernel-source in the repos is not the latest
version and fails to work on
I am affected by this bug too, on a new Lenovo ThinkPad E531.
