I have an MSI U100. To resolve the webcam issues I needed to do the following: 1. Flash update of the BIOS from the MSI website 2. Clean install of UNR 9.10 3. Open up the video settings - sudo gstreamers-properties 4. Set the video output setting to X Window System (X11/XShm/Xv) [This sets the video to the internal video card and not the cpu).
