You have to recover the file first.
Afterwards vym 1.12.0 (built from source under debian lenny) will save
the file without garbleing it again.

The ubuntu version is 6.10 with xubuntu (but same problem with gnome)

I use ndiswrapper for the wlan card. When ndiswrapper module is loaded,
