Damn, doesn't work :-( I also changed the ident string of course. Built a new kernel, initrd, booted all that stuff, no change. The netbook's screen turns black and that's it. I connected an external TFT via VGA, this works just fine. And boots blazingly fast! Info from 'dmidecode -d /dev/mem' is
