As a workaround, I do this:
- View > Show grid > disable
- View > Show connection points > disable
- Ubuntu 14.04 > snapshot > select area to grab
Cumbersome but working :-/

(2KB).

I don't think it is the same problem. My ethernet TX gets stuck stuck to
10-20KBps (80-160Kbps). When I force some activity (USB mouse events) it
can reach ~1MBps (8Mbps). Also the interface is supposed to (and says
to) be 100Mbps...

I got some logs from boonie++ (v1.96) on my external harddrive on a
Ubuntu-10.04. All the files are embedded in emeric_01.tar.bz2:
- bonnie_bootedMonday_02.txt (and .html) displays results after a cold poweron
on monday morning. Following bonnie++ command has been used:
$ ./bonnieM.sh . 2G 10 ubu

I got a similar problem, but not sure it's the same. My external USB HDD
(Iomega 320GB USB2.0) is automatically mounted on /media/disk-1 at my
Ubuntu10.04 startup through /etc/fstab:
