Sorry, I don't have any. The only thing I can figure is that, for
some reason, OpenOffice won't write the changes for the JRE to the
applicable config file. It's like it has amnesia; you tell it what
you want and it forgets. I suppose if you knew where that information
was stored, you,
openoffice.org-java-common is already installed, as is the meta
package (i.e. openoffice.org) after I uninstalled OOo and reinstalled
it with the meta package.
As a side note, I installed sun-java6-bin, sun-java6-jdk, and
sun-java6-jre and no affect. OOo will list them, but when I select
