I want to play mp3's with Audacious by default. If you right click on an
mp3, and select open with other application, then select Audacious and
make sure the check box is clicked that says 'remember this application
for mp3 files, it does not change anything. It will play it
To be honest I got so frustrated with trying to run Linux on a PowerPC mac
(several bugs and not as well supported from the linux community) that I got
rid of it. The annoucement of Adobe to not make flash for it killed it...
So I am not really qualified to answer this question any more... but
