I am using XUbuntu 18.04 and when trying to install the nfs-kernel-
server the system displays an error message similar to the title of the
report issue of this bug.
root@srvdata1804x64:~# apt install nfs-kernel-server

When the client is starting, in the process of establishing the default
keyboard settings, it takes about some minutes to finish showing a
squashfs_read_data error and not finish loading the image.
