I can't build the package, either on Linux 3.8.0-25-generic. This bug is very irritating, I don't have an external SD card reader, and need photos off my card. I can't find ANY fix out there for this on Ubuntu 13.04. Downgrading is not an option, as when I downgrade other things on my laptop
