This isn't iTunes-related: it happens as well when you try to
synchronise videos with Banshee. A workaround for this is to use ffmpeg
instead:
sudo apt-get install ffmpeg
ffmpeg -i video.avi -b 300 -qmin 3 -qmax 5 -g 300 -ab 96000 -s 320:240 -aspect
4:3 videoforipod.mp4

Optionally, you can change 96000 to 128000 to increase the bitrate.

This happens to me too, using an iPod Classic 5G. The converted video's
can be added in iTunes, but iTunes won't put them on the iPod Classic
when synchronising. This has never been a problem in Ubuntu 11.10, where
I was using the default version of Arista from the 11.10 repo's.
I'm using Ubuntu
The workaround worked for me too.

super key combination, not when you minimize the windows in another way.

In Lubuntu 11.10 i386, when I hold the Super key and then press D, it
shows the desktop. The problem is, that LXMenu will be opened too a lot
of times, because I pressed the Super key first. The usability would be
improved if the LXMenu only opens when you hit the Super key

clicking on 'Effects', Cheese will show all the effects double instead
of single. Removing and purging, and then reinstalling Cheese didn't

with a number on it, representing the number of emails. I don't think
that it'd be hard to create sort of a 'get' mechanism to retrieve the
