Installing lo-menubar gives partial integration with LibreOffice
component apps (like Writer, Calc, etc). However, launching the
LibreOffice app itself (which sort of binds all the components together)
still doesn't respect lo-menubar settings and still no HUD integration.
Would've been nice to do

At this moment I have karmic with kernel 2.6.33.rc8 running on that machine
without any problem.
I tested your 'DRM PPA' (kernel 2.6.32-16) under Karmic on that machine and I
didn't see video or others problems. Everything is working fine.
Any further test. Let me know.
Thank you

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: pidgin
This bug seems to be exactly what is reported in the following link:
http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/2289
The bug was automatically closed so I don't know if anyone looked at it.
My setup:
Ubuntu 8.04
Pidgin 1:2.4.1-1ubuntu2
Facetime:
Windows
The problem is perhaps due to fact I use an NFS export as home. I tried
to make a new account with a local home in the same machine without
experiencing it.
