I have the same problem with my LTSP setup, i read somewhere that this
could be the case when videoram isnt properly detected by xorg. I've put
a hardcoded value for videoram i my lts.conf and going to see what
happens.
My setup is:
LTSP-server:
HP ProLiant ML110 G5
Dual-Core Intel® Xeon®
I have not had the time for any extensive testing but my initial feeling
is that this fixes the problem i have in bug #225950.
When i come home from my vacation im going to test this some more...

see the window slowly being drawn on the screen. All other programs such
as Firefox with intensive pages draws fast.

I have the same issue but i have it with all mediaplayers (only tested
with Gstreamer ones, rhytmbox and totem)
If i'm listening to some music and then switch to my browser i hear a
crackeling noice, often louder then the actual music.

I have a similar problem with a forcedeth ethernet card.
* If i have set my static IP-adresses with network-admin nm-applet keeps
on saying that i have no network connection.
* If i then empty the interfaces file in /etc nm-applet keeps looking for a
network connection and after a while it says

This worked with the 2.6.15-23-386 kernel but when upgraded to
2.6.20-2-generic it stopped working.
Will attach dmesg logs from both kernels.

I have a similar problem, i'll write about it here because its
unnecessary to write up a new bugreport about it.
I have an Acer AL1916W widescreen TFT display and it should be set to
1440x900 but its set to 1440x1440 every time i install Ubuntu
Dapper/Edgy.
Card: Nvidia GeForce 6150
Driver: vesa
I can confirm this on Edgy to, the way bluetooth devices is handled now
is not very userfriendly.
This should be done automatically not by editing /etc files.

Edgy usplash corrupts all my virtual
At that time epiphany depended on the mozilla-browser and not firefox.
I still feel that if a user installs epiphany it should be set to the
default browser in. I do not know if thats the case now. Havent checked.
The shortcuts can't be removed now because firefox will still be
