I can confirm this bug (I think that other locale, lt, is "lituanian").
That shouldn't be very difficult to fix, but I don't know how to
possibly do it.

I don't think the bug was fixed correctly. I have an up-to-date version
of Hardy 64 bit, and I'm still getting it (or something that is very
similar to it). When trying to print the attached PDF, I get errors in
mathematic characters. Something must be wrong in the way evince
translates PDF files t
I can confirm both the existence of this problem in Hardy Alpha 5 and
the fact that the solution posted above still works. In Gutsy forcedeth
worked out-of-the-box, so I think this bug should be fixed (especially
because Hardy is LTS)
