Binary package hint: linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-19-generic
After upgrading from linux kernel 2.6.24-18 to 2.6.24-19 and rebooting, I only
had sound on my left speaker. My left headphone was also the only one
outputting sound. The only solution to get music back was to downgrade to
2.6.24-18 and remove anything related to 2.6.24-19.
My machine is a Dell Inspiron 9400 with a HDA intel sound device.
