@Leo: I think it happend here sometimes but not always. Do you use fglrx
(ATI graphic card driver)? I do. Since this bug report is about 'fn-
keys' maybe you should file a new bug report.

I did recognize the same behaviour. After some research it seems that this is
not a bug but a feature. There is an option in BIOS to change the behaviour of
the fn-keys. Go to BIOS System Configuration Action Keys Mode:
- If the option is enabled, you can change brightness, loudness etc.
Same problem here, since I did an update this morning.
