Binary package hint: epiphany-browser
While the whole OS is in UTF-8 the web default encoding is set to
Western ISO-8859-1. Shouldn't that be set to UTF-8 by default as well?

Thanks whoopie for the package. I did the installation but I don't see
any input box to enter my username/password (actually the advanced
button doesn't seem to have any effect). Anybody is using this

ok, the download did work fine. But I thought we were trying to
troubleshoot/fix the Ubuntu package which segfaults (on some systems
only apparently) so no users can use a working version from the
repositories. In that perspective I'm willing to help test more or do
some stuff. Just let me know.

Downloaded the loader.py from
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~renpytom/renpy/main/annotate/750/renpy/loader.py
and replaced it in /usr/share/games/renpy/renpy/ but the application
still segfaults. I'm using karmic.
What else do you need us to try?

Using epiphany-browser (webkit) 2.28.0-4ubuntu1 on Ubuntu Karmic beta
quite regularly I have had regular crashes on everything. It seems pages
with photos tend to crash a lot more and the display gets corrupted as
well. Then clicking on

Openjdk works well in karmic indeed but Sun Java webstart gives me this:

ok great! I just typed the followings:
sudo apt-get install ttf-arphic-uming ttf-arphic-ukai
Then logged out and back in and it worked. Maybe we could have a script
doing that after install if CD space is a problem?

Besides, I followed your instructions and as you can see the language-
pack-kde-zh package is already installed... so it doesn't fix the bug.
Please do not lower the quality of such a great product! It should
install and work in the language selected at install time.

1. Why is it working in Ubuntu?
2. Why by selection Chinese for the install it install an incorrect system
(well unusable as such)
Overall the quality of the Install for Edubuntu has a different standard
as Ubuntu. How can you justify that?

I have the same issue, where in Dapper it was even in the menus. After
updating, or from a fresh install (I tried both) that menu item has been
remove and when trying to install the gnome applet in the panel, nothing
appears at all.
