I have the exact same problem, but only when using my bluetooth
headsett. Using the headset with cable removes the problem entirely.

I can run under Ubuntu Classic with no effects, but the display bugs out
all of the time, leaving black squares and strange artifacts all over
the desktop when shifting between desktops or moving application-windows
around.
