Lauch Monitor and extend desktop to two monitor still broken, the 2nd
monitor can only see the mouse. But duplicate image on 2 monitor works

I have a Dell Inspiron 1464 laptop, it has a touchpad toggle key that work fine
in 10.10.
I've just upgraded to 11.04 and the button stop working.
running dmesg get me to this

For conclusion, we're just reporting bugs, and yes it's a bug, it's confirmed
and it's affect the main feature of empathy.
Maybe the bug was fixed upstream, or in a later version that didn't appear in

current version in
It happens with a clean install 10.10 too.
The weird bug also happens with thunderbird, Empathy and some other app that I
don't remember

I did install ubuntu-x-swat, xorg-edgers and revert back to maverick's, the
problem stills there.

Recently I downloaded and play DDO, the game run fine 'til I jump into water,
the screen hang. I still can switch to tty1 and it appears a lot of [drm] debug
msg.
Restart X or gdm doesn't help (I think it's something belong to kernel drm)

I'm using gnome-shell, when I click the activities button, the screen
flicker a lot.
The problem gone when I suspend and login again.
The last line of dmesg:

I enabled the lucid-proposed and ran upgrade, but the problem still

The machine complete freezes when I'm on the Internet. Sometimes it immidiately
crash when i just logged in. When freeze, the machine completely unsuable, I
can't switch to tty1, press shutdown button doesn't help, I have to hold the

Tested some driver by Nvidia, 190.36 beta too. Removed Nvidia's driver didn't
solve the problem.
It's only triggered when I recently upgrade Karmic.
