2 days ago a new package update for UbuntuOne resolved my issue. The
update forced a new install of UbuntuOne, which I was not able to do
before that update. UbuntuOne is working fine now.

Thank you for taking time to help me with this issue.
When I run the above specified command, I receive an error. Stating that
there is an error in u1sdtool and I don't have a ubuntuone config dir.:

I have the same problem with my HP Elitebook 8540w, Centrino Intel-N 7300.
However I notice something else as well, that has to do with this matter. The
notebook has a button with which you can enable/disable wireless, the light on
the button will then change from blue(enabled) to orange(disabled
