I made a small patch to support multiple ips on one interface. Should work on
several interfaces too even if I din't test it.
I tested it on ec2 with ubuntu 18.04 and netplan export

I have several installation of slave slapd segfaulting.

I made a test with a vanilla 2.6.32.25 ad same issue.
Works fine with a vanilla 2.6.36. Seems to be a 2.6.32.23 kernel issue

Sorry i was not clear. The modprobe acpiphp is mandatory for device hot-
plugging, but when you try to hotplug some device you loose network.
Seem to be an acpiphp bug preventing device hot-plugging. This bug is a
real one.

If you don't make the modprobe acpiphp, device hot-plug is not working,
so this bug prevent hotplugging drives and network interfaces on lucid.
IS there any hope of a fix?

backport i was able to use the kill switch even if the led don't switch
(and wireless don work), but with the backport module i can't activate
the wifi so no way to test wifi conectivity.
