Still an issue for me, on 600px high screen with added launcher app
items and multiple disk partitions. Bottom launcher item (trash) is not
visible when moving the pointer in on the bottom edge. Subsequent
scrolling is my only workaround atm.

The crash has not happened again during the session nor on subsequent
login. (I haven't needed to reboot yet.)
So it may still be due to a reboot being needed, or it may be due to a

Either the bug-reporting link seems ok and ureadahead on launchpad needs
