Same issues as above. Unable to mount (NTFS, USB, etc) and unable to use
Users/Groups. Have a file /etc/gdm/custom.conf

Patching setuptools was not a great idea packagers. Given the common
usages of ez_setup.py and other methods of installing setuptools.
Anyway, quick work around to get a working python2.5 virtualenv:
virtualenv --python=python2.5 py25-ve
No need for any symlink monkeying or package patching.

Using a newer virtualenv, 1.3.3 does NOT solve this issue.

Yes, restarting fixed it.
Should have checked that in the first place, didn't remember seeing an
update to network-manager-pptp. Sorry about that.

When trying to send messages using an AIM account no message is shown in the
conversation window. Messages are however received by the other party.
Eg:
1. Empathy user types hi into conversation window in the bottom panel and
presses return.
I can reproduce as well.
