Public bug reported: In trying to get network installs of 16.04 working, I am finding that the installs are failing when attempting to download the filesystem.squashfs over the network.
The URL that is shown in the log is "/cdromhttp://...." instead of just "http://....". Was there a change in the preseed file values that is causing '/cdrom' to be prepended to the URL similar to the change that occurred in 12.10? I could not find anything in release notes about such a change. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1575553 Title: Net install of 16.04 fails when loading squashfs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1575553/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
