When I try to connect to wireless networks, I usually use the GUI in the
top-right of the screen to select a network. I get a prompt which says
that to connect I require a password. If I put the network password in
the textbox and I press Enter (or click on the button) the

After I suspended my laptop and resumed it, all the text (directory
names, file names, even the text in the shutdown or reboot prompt) is
deleted or invisible. I need to reboot the system to have the text back.
