on Debian with KDE. Thanks for the attention.
If it is possible to enable proprietary nvidia drivers using a live
image I will try that way, but the result could be not so affordable.

Well, i don't think that "fix released" is the correct status for this
bug. Actually you suggested me a workaround of the problem, but the
problem itself is not fixed. I think that "confirmed" is still the best
status for this.

error if copying the file using command line smbclient.

Today I attempt to visit the page http://www.selfitalia.it/store/perugia
and as soon as the page has been loaded the whole screen (including
panels and desktop) became fuzzy. Closing firefox or restarting gdm from
a console has no effect. Firefox closes but the screen remains
Comment #33 provides a nice workaroud, but all the applications should
use gvfs correctly. Just as (as an instance) evince does.

The following behaviour appeared just after the upgrade to oneiric:
If I have two windows on desktop overlaying each other, when I click on
the background one the window comes to front then disappears for less
than a second and then reappears.

In my hp laptop there is a small button that enables/disables touchpad. It was
working well until I upgraded to lucid. Now if I press that button i cannot
write anymore in any window.
To be able to write again I have to drop to a console with ctrl-
Also I noticed that great part of pdfs aren't fully readable. There are
parts of text that are invisible. The only way to read them is to
select, copy and paste them in another software.

I have the same behaviour with the next and the finish button iin the "new
project" dialog and sometimes the buttons in the team->syncronize window
disappear.

Today i've this bug happening again. I managed to stop the annoyng sound
by first stopping /etc/init.d/alsa-utils, then killing the gdmgreeter
process and finally starting alsa-utils again.

I have the same repeated gdm sound when switching user. I tried to stop
it killing the gdm-greeter process but nothing changes. The only way I
found is to logout and login again. My video card is Nvidia.
