Sorry, I think this is not actually a bug. It turns out that what I was
calling as ESX host is it's own vCenter. They are all able to talk to
each other and thus any one can be used to manage the others from the
web GUI, but this is not the case via the SOAP/REST APIs.

I get the same with the RC and K3b. After k3b completes it ejects and
immediately reloads. This has only been happening fairly recently.
New internal Samsung drive (though I doubt it's anything to do with the

There's the right-click share option for a folder BUT... it's not
working now (it was a while back) "Create Share" and "Add the
permissions automatically" just go round in circles!! The shares I had
set up have now disappeared and I can find no way of setting up shares
again.

I get the HAL error on my desktop too but also a number of other errors
on my laptop.
I have the saa7134 device in my desktop but nothing like that in the
laptop. The saa7134 TV tuner is not being recognised currently with the
older kernel (14) by TV tuner apps but does show in lspci correctly.
I also get the "HAL couldn't initialize" error. No LAN - hardware isn't seen -
I suspect due to on HAL
Also, cannot shut down or restart from GUI - system freezes.
Having to use previous kernel version 2.6.24-14-generic, which works.

I too confirm that this bug still exists. I have bcm4306 rev 3 chipset
in Linksys WPC54G Notebook Adapter. I did as mentioned in the original
report - changed blacklist to enable bcm43xx, blacklist b43 and ssb and
modprobe bcm43xx. Then installed bcm43ww-fwcutter using synaptic and

It was happening every time but is not now - I'm not sure whether an
update fixed it or something I did (I can't remember when it stopped
happening - I run standard Ubuntu Hardy too). I'll see if I can find
out.
I am not using the colours from system theme but I did change the
colours to black on
I can't find "taskbar" in the "Add to panel" list but I have added
"Window List" and this gives me what I need.
I've also added "Workspace Switcher" successfully. So it seems I can
build the functionality I desire.
