package nspluginwrapper 1.2.2-0ubuntu9 failed to install/upgrade:
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit
I just now completed a fresh install of Hardy from the 64bit alternate
install cd. The sound is perfectly Ok with no changes on my part. PCM is
set to 80 by default.
My earlier setup which caused the bug was an upgrade from 64bit Gutsy to
Hardy 64bit.

Distorted sound after upgrade from Gutsy
I have a nvidia geforce 6150 card with a Philips 14.1' LCD. Hardy boots
perfectly with the nv driver into 1280x800. But after I reboot, it falls
back to 640x480. I tried dpkg-reconfigure xorg/nvidia-glx-new and also
manually tried to do a nvidia-xconfig.

report#178679 which has been marked as duplicate of this one.
