Public bug reported: I have install the linux-image-2.6.17-10-generic package on my system and I encounter this problem while shuting down my Toshiba Satellite M100 laptop: after clicking the shutdown button in the Gnome logout dialog, the system goes shutdown, and while the laptop being powered
